Island MD was founded by a barefoot, island loving doctor and mother who has been in your flipflops.

Being sick on vacation is no fun. You have probably been planning and saving for months, and a simple UTI or heavy period shouldn't keep you from enjoying this time on the island with your loved ones. Dr. Rachel has been in your shoes and wants to help. Lets get you back to vacation!



Dr. Rachel Wykes graduated from medical school at the University of Iowa in 2009, completed obstetrics and gynecology residency at Kansas University and has been practicing in Cape Coral, FL where she resides with her family. 


She has experience in wilderness, mission, and tropical medicine.  She also has three small children and can help with your little one's needs as well. She is an island homeowner and lover of all things island and vacation and is here to help!
